Service Technician
Satveer Singh has been with Stenmar Group since 2019 – but he’s been a fitter and machinist for over 20 years. He works across multiple areas including pump fitting, welding and hydraulics servicing. Like many of our team members, his vast technical knowledge ensures premium hydraulic solutions.
“We do everything here,” he says, “including machining and welding, remanufacture, repair, installation and testing. I work with hydraulic cylinders and pumps, sometimes on-site and sometimes back in our workshop. We bring them in, complete the repairs or maintenance, then transport them back and complete the installation.”
Outside work, Satveer keeps busy with his two kids – and martial arts.
“I did Muay Thai for a lot of years and soccer, playing interstate with my team. Now it’s the gym or the guitar. I do train with my son who’s picked up martial arts and he does Japanese karate, kicking, jujitsu and Muay Thai.”
Satveer has found a few similarities with Stenmar Group.
“I enjoy new challenges, and I also think we should be punctual and reliable. There’s variety at work so there are always new things to focus on, and we work together to get the job done.”
